| 9-7-05 This month on 9-13-05 it will have been 9 years since Tupac was fatally shot. On the same day Afeni Shakur will unveil a bronze statue of Tupac at the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for Arts in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Also due out this month is the Rose vol. 2. Dead Prez, Ludacris and Talib Kweli have written songs inspired by Shakur's poetry book The Rose That Grew From Concrete. Published in 1999, the book is a collection of poems Shakur wrote before he became famous. The Rose, Vol. 2 will be released September 20 and also features Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Outlawz, Celina Nixon, Lyfe Jennings and former Digital Underground colleague Shock G. R.I.P Tupac Shakur. |
